This is the 23rd Annual writers conference sponsored by Authors of the Flathead. We are a nonprofit group of writers who provide support to each other through critiques and camaraderie. Sharing ideas in the competitive publishing world is helpful, especially to newcomers. The group meets the first three Thursday evenings of each month. On August 29th we are hosting the annual Author Potluck Picnic at Pavilion #2 at Whitefish Lake at City Beach. We will be grilling burgers and brats. Plates, utensils and condiments are supplied by the group. We purchased a beverage permit this year, so if you would like to bring wine, beer or another alcoholic drink, that is acceptable. The picnic is a great social gathering to bring new friends and share stories. We will have brochures for the conference if you haven’t already registered.
The conference is limited to 100 people so it is advisable to register early. The theme this year is broad – “A Writer’s Journey.” You will find speakers in varied genres from around the country, local best-selling authors and two literary agents. Presenter information below:
